Part of becoming a Knight of Columbus is to participate in a special welcoming ceremony. Years ago our ceremonials were "secret" and we would pledge not to discuss them. We still reveal none of what we learned from the old ceremonials, except to a brother Knight. Today, the ceremonial is to be enjoyed with family and friends as we welcome new Knights of Columbus members into local councils.
Once a ceremonial is held, it needs to be reported to the State Ceremonials chairman, State Deputy and the Supreme Council with the form 450. This should be done by the District Deputy and all Grand Knights of new members.
