State Program Team Awards
Each year the State receives applications from Councils for the State Program Awards, and once again we are accepting your applications.  Please see the attached State Program Team Awards application.  Applications will be accepted up to Friday, February 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM.  PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN DEADLINE DATE. 

Father McGivney Award Applications
Those submitting a Priest for nomination for the Father McGivney Award are asked to complete the attached “Father McGivney Award Application” in its entirety.  This application must be completely filled out in order for your nomination to be accepted.  I would suggest if you need to obtain additional information from your nominee, you contact them early so they can provide such information to you in time for the review process.  All nominations for the Father McGivney Award will be reviewed by a separate Committee charged with reviewing the applications and submitting to the State Deputy for award and submission to Supreme Council.  This award is one of the most prestigious awards of our Order and we ask that you provide all of the necessary information so that the Committee can select the best candidate from Pennsylvania for the Father McGivney Medal, which will be awarded at the Supreme Convention in August 2024.  The DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS Friday, February 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM.  All applications should be sent to State Program Director at the previously listed address. 

FAMILY OF THE YEAR
If you plan on submitting an application for “State Family of the Year” please use the attached application.  Previous applications for Family of the Month will not be accepted for State Family of the Year.  You must complete the attached application if you would like someone to be considered for State Family of the Year.  The deadline for applications will be Friday, February 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM and should be sent to the State Program Director as listed previously.

Those submitting applications must use the appropriate attached form.  These are new forms from Supreme Council and are the only ones they will accept this year.  Previous forms will not be accepted by Supreme Council.  The change is they are looking for a much more in depth and requires a bolder narrative so that they can determine Supreme Awards winners. 

I also strongly suggest that Councils send their applications to the State Program Director via UPS or Fed Ex or any other Ground delivery services.  Unfortunately, the USPS is not reliable in their delivery of documents and in requiring signatures of receipt.  You may also submit your application via electronic forms to the above email however, you will need to submit an original signed document in order to be considered for a Supreme Award.  Supreme Council will only accept original, signed applications.
